CARC Plumbers

“Lesley from Unforgettable Fun went above and beyond to make sure our corporate sales incentive trip away was perfect! Her communication and passion was incredible – I had full faith our weekend away was going to be magic!

We had an awesome time with the group at the Waitangi Mountain park, this was organised from start to finish by Lesley which included an orienteering type challenge with clues left all around the bike park. After the challenge all the guys came back smiling from ear to ear! We also had a full games afternoon at the Nauti Penguin which was such a success!

Living in Auckland it was hard for me to organise a group trip up North – Lesley took all the stress out of it for me, I was very lucky to have her as a contact on the ground. Throughout the planning of the trip Lesley was very attentive and patient with us changing our mind with timings, dates and locations. I couldn’t recommend Unforgettable Fun enough.

Thanks Lesley!”

Customers Brief

Every year a Sales Incentive Trip is organised for our commercial plumbers.  The trip we organise is based around group challenges and team building activities that the guys can get competitive in.  At the end of the evening we hold an awards evening which they all raise money for a chosen charity.

We have elements of the event booked, can you help us by putting a programme of activities together, be there to plan the logistics in the build-up to the event and run the activities on the day.  We want this to be a weekend of fun for approximately 40 people

The Outcome

After getting the conference formalities over it was time for some activities.  A coach transfer was arranged for the group to be picked up from the venue in Kerikeri and brought to our first activity location (which was a surprise to them, all they knew was that they needed ‘active wear’):

Day 1 Waitangi Mountain Bike Park:

Hard to read their faces as they arrived.  Unforgettable Fun jumped on the coach and gave them a briefing of what was ahead

  • A Scavenger hunt by Mountain Bike in teams of 5
    • Find the clues and unravel the puzzle
    • Work as a team so you can get as many clues as you can.  The further you go the more points you get
    • Set your strategy and map your route
    • You all have to be back at base in 2.5 hours, points deducted for latecomers

Now this was a talking point, see the teams get competitive, have fun, look out for each other and of course want to win!

Afterwards, it was then a quick change and off to have lunch at a local restaurant, free time in the afternoon and then a relaxed informal dinner a local hotel.

Day 2 Games at Nauti Penguin

After a morning of either a heli flight to play some golf at one of our beautiful golf course or get out on the water on a fishing charter.  We gathered the group together for 3 hours of fun and games

  • Staying in the same teams as Day 1, it was time to play a few games
  • Round Robin activities of Skittles, Punchbag, Darts, Hoopla and beanbag throw. It was amazing how hard some of the teams could punch that bag ????
  • Drinks and platters to keep the group going before they all changed into their smart outfits for their awards dinner

The teams engaged in all activities, worked together, had fun and were still talking about the fun they had had on their way home.  That’s a sign of a great week-end together..
