Board Strategy Session
For the first day, a board strategy session for our key strategic board members. I would like to combine it with a Partner’s Programme, so that they have an activity to take part in when we are having our board meeting. The Partner’s Programme is to be created for 5 males to have some fun while we work.
Then for the second day I would like us all to do something together as a group. It is important for us to have the environment that we can work in a private space as we have sensitive topics to discuss and have catering within the meeting room
Event is to be fully catered for, with dinner together and overnight accommodation included.
Team Building Session
A meeting space is needed, where we can plan our strategy for the following year. All technology included that we require and we must be able to have zoom facilities and fast internet.
I would then like to have a team building event. I want to be able to do something practical and different to anything we have done before.
Event to be fully catered for with overnight accommodation and I would like us to all have breakfast in a local restaurant.
The Outcome
With both of the events including some of the same people, it was important that we proposed something that was different for both events. The brief was very clear and it was our role to research all the options, and put together a creative proposal.
Our commitment was to then take the proposal and put it into action, liaising with all the suppliers and venues, put together all the logistics to transport the group between places, keep everything on schedule and manage the event on the day.
- Accommodation was sourced in Paihia and Russell
- Private transport in place to pick-up and drop off between places so that the experience was seamless
- Private chef to breakfast together that was an culinary experience in itself
- Venues secured for meetings as requested that had all the criteria specified
- Private fishing charter for the guys
- An exquisite wine tasting experience at a local Vineyard
- Paint n Sip experience that was something they hadn’t done before
- Fun 9 hole golf round at a local Iconic golf course
No two parts of the events were the same. There was something for everyone and the success ending was achieved. Work and strategising was completed, so was some down time for the partner’s and then they all came together to experience time as a group
